I’m a sucker for plants. The kind of plants that don’t die…no matter what you do to them. I’ve gotten much better at caring for plants, but I still like to buy hardy green plants that are very, very, very hard to kill.
I’m also a sucker for things that hang from the ceiling. I love mobiles and pendants, but green drapey vines are some of my favorite hanging things.
Succulents are some of my favorites of the plants you cannot kill. They were the star of my wedding flowers and they’re very easy to grow.
I’ve been wanting to put a little plant in our downstairs bathroom. This is the girls bathroom and the bathroom that gets used by guests. We did an affordable stop-gap renovation in here last year. It’s actually only 90% done, because I still need to tackle/finish the tile…yeah, it’s one of thooooooose projects.
Anyway, I digress. I had a leftover wood tile from the hanging-tiered planter I made back in December, so I decided I might as well put it to good use and get a plant hanging in the bathroom. Who needs tile when you have pretty living things?
This guy was actually in my wedding bouquet, so the fact that he’s still alive is kind of amazing. He’s been living in another area of the house, but her fit perfectly into the wood slice, so he was handpicked to make the move to the bathroom.
I LOVEEEEE it. Hanging plants are just sooooooo good.
