These cookies are so good. That’s pretty much all I can say. They are like, sooooo good. Try them. They’ll be a hit. I promise!
Chocolate Crinkle Cookie Recipe:
- 1/2 C Shortening
- 1 2/3 C Sugar
- 2 Teas. Vanilla
- 2 Eggs
- 2 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 C Flour
- 2 Teas. baking powder
- 1/2 Teas. salt
- 1/3 C milk
- 1/2 C chopped walnuts (optional)
- Granulated sugar
Sift dry ingredients together and set aside. Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla together. Beat in eggs, then add melted chocolate. Add dry ingredients slowly alternating between dry ingredients and milk. Stir in nuts. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight. Roll into 1″ balls and roll into sugar to coat. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
