Here’s a stupid easy snack recipe that’s easy to make, affordable, and a universal winner from young and old alike. First, let me say that I’m a sucker for all things s’more. One of my girlfriends actually has a Pinterest board dedicated to s’mores just for me. No joke.
This particular mix is made with mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and Honey Graham cereal, but there are a variety of substitutions you can use in place of the cereal, like Teddy Grahams, HoneyMade Little Squares, or even just regular graham crackers broken into pieces.
The perfect addition to a party — I recently made ours for a co-ed baby shower — this s’more trail mix is versatile enough to accompany a variety of soirees. And while I’m partial to this mix for fall and winter, there’s no rule against making it year round…although you probably wouldn’t want to carry it in your beach bag in the middle of June.
Give it a fun name, like Campfire Crunch, Happy Camper Mix or Mountain Munch and serve it at your next get-together.
Throw it in a cute jar, tin or bag and you have the perfect hostess gift for the holidays. Throw some in a burlap baggie and place it on the pillow in your guest room for a sweet welcome gift for guests.
**If you live in a damp climate, this recipe will stale quickly. If you’re making it for a party, I’d suggest making it the day of.
